The Pearl Surf Retreat LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, is the data controller for this website and for bookings. The retreat is operated in Tamraght Oufella, Agadir region, Morocco. For anything privacy-related, write to hi@thepearlsurfretreat.com.

• Booking details — your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, chosen dates, room, guest count, and anything you tell us about diet, health or surf level.
• Payment data — deposits are processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers. Balance payments made on arrival are handled at the house.
• Messages — the WhatsApp and email conversations you have with us.
• Website analytics — pages visited, approximate location and device data via Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity, plus the campaign that brought you here (UTM parameters, Google click ID).

• To run your booking — confirming dates, planning rooms, meals and coaching groups. Without this data there is no stay.
• To keep you safe — dietary and health notes go only to the people who need them (kitchen, coaches).
• To answer you when you contact us.
• To measure our advertising — we run paid campaigns and use analytics to know what's working, including reporting completed bookings back to Google Ads.

We never sell your data. It is shared only with the services that make the site and the retreat work:

• Stripe — deposit payments.
• Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta and Microsoft Clarity — analytics and advertising measurement.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Our internal booking system — where reservations are managed by the two people who run the retreat.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us there, their terms also apply.

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for the analytics and advertising tools listed above, and to remember which campaign brought you to us. You can block cookies in your browser at any time; the site keeps working without them.

If you arrive through one of our host or creator pages (for example a /travel-with- link), we set a functional first-party cookie (pearl_ref) for up to 90 days so the person who introduced you is credited if you book. It identifies the referrer, not you.

Booking records are kept for as long as accounting law requires. Conversations are kept while they're useful for looking after you as a returning guest. Analytics data follows the retention settings of each tool (typically 2–26 months).

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. One email is enough — no forms, no waiting periods beyond what it physically takes us to do it.

Some of the services above process data outside Morocco and the EU (primarily in the United States) under their own compliance frameworks. We only use established providers with standard contractual safeguards.
